Prasad brings over 23 years of experience in both central government and academia, excelling in IT project management and pioneering research in emerging computing and bioinformatics domains. With a robust academic foundation, he holds graduate and master’s degrees in Computer Science from Nagarjuna University, AP, India, and a master’s degree in technology from Manav Bharti University, HP, India. Prof. Prasad commenced his career as an educator, later joining the Bureau of Indian Standards, New Delhi, where he served for 11 years, reaching the position of Scientist-C/Dy. Director. His doctoral (PhD) degree in computer sciences and bioinformatics is from Jamia Millia Islamia (Central University), New Delhi. Prof. Prasad has held leadership roles in academia, including Lingaya’s University, Haryana, and prestigious engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Currently, he serves as the Director of GIET Institutions, Rajahmundry, AP, India. His expertise spans ISO/IEC 27001 ISMS implementation and ISO 9000 quality systems certification. As a senior member of organizations like IEEE (USA), ISTE, IAEng, IACSIT, and IRAST (Hong Kong), he conducts research in bioinformatics and artificial intelligence, encompassing natural language processing, image processing, swarm intelligence, robotics, and knowledge engineering. His extensive publications, patents, copyrights, and active involvement in international conferences underscore his remarkable contributions. Prof. Prasad's professional journey has taken him to nine European nations and several Southeast Asian countries, where he has earned recognition as an adept administrator, system planner, and designer, inspiring faculty members, students, and peers alike.
